USA vs Australia and Three More Matches: WC 2026 Game Night

All News from the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Mundial Today

Tonight the World Cup delivers four matches at once — and each one decides the fate of group standings. The main storyline: the USA and Australia, both on three points after the first round, meet in Seattle in a clash that will almost certainly determine the leader of Group D. Meanwhile, Scotland — the surprise leader of Group C — puts its early form to the test against Morocco, while Brazil looks for its first win of the tournament against Haiti.

Tonight's Schedule

  • 22:00 Kyiv time. USA vs Australia (Group D, Matchday 2) — Lumen Field, Seattle
  • 01:00 Kyiv time (June 20). Scotland vs Morocco (Group C, Matchday 2) — Gillette Stadium, Foxborough
  • 03:30 Kyiv time (June 20). Brazil vs Haiti (Group C, Matchday 2) — Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
  • 07:00 Kyiv time (June 20). Turkey vs Paraguay (Group D, Matchday 2) — AT&T Stadium, Dallas

USA vs Australia (22:00 Kyiv time)

This is the match that could effectively settle the top spot in Group D before the third round even arrives. The USA thrashed Paraguay 4–1 in their opener, while Australia beat Turkey 2–0 — both sides are level on three points, with the Americans ahead only on goal difference (+3 vs +2). A win in Seattle will almost guarantee the victor a place in the Round of 32. The key personnel question is the fitness of Christian Pulisic: the USA captain has been training in a limited capacity all week and remains doubtful. If he takes the field, the key duel will be against Australia's defensive line, which has yet to concede a single goal at this tournament.

Scotland vs Morocco (01:00 Kyiv time, June 20)

Scotland have returned to the World Cup for the first time since 1998 — and immediately topped Group C after beating Haiti 1–0. Morocco, the fourth-place finishers at WC 2022, drew 1–1 with Brazil and also need points to avoid falling behind. The match in Foxborough pits Scotland's organised pressing game against Morocco's technical quality. The winner goes top of the group; a draw keeps the suspense alive until the final matchday.

Brazil vs Haiti (03:30 Kyiv time, June 20)

Brazil under Carlo Ancelotti opened with a 1–1 draw against Morocco — Vinícius Júnior got on the scoresheet, but one point instead of three leaves the Seleção in second place in the group. Against Haiti (0 points, goal difference −1), the Brazilians have the chance to put things right and move to the top. Keep an eye on Vinícius and Rodri — if they are in form, this could be a spectacular evening.

Turkey vs Paraguay (07:00 Kyiv time, June 20)

Both sides lost in the first round and sit on zero points in Group D. For each of them, this is effectively a must-win match: defeat would all but close the door to the knockout stage. The game in Dallas rounds off the night — perfect for those who are still awake at dawn.
